THE BALLROOM
The Ballroom

Seating up to 100 for a ceremony or 72 for a dinner, it is a beautiful classical space with a minstrels gallery perfect for a string quartet or a DJ. Why not return to the Ballroom after your wedding breakfast to dance the night away?

Designed by Clough Williams-Ellis in the late 1930’s, the Ballroom is a unique and elegant addition to Cornwell Manor, boasting an adjoining private walled garden with space for a marquee to seat up to 150 people.

The walls are adorned with two huge tapestries from “The Triumph of the Gods”, one, over six metres long, “The Triumph of Minerva” and the other “The Procession of Bacchus”.  Above the carved oak fireplace is a vast bespoke mirror, of verre eglomisé, complementing the room with a truly romantic feel.
